Well, generally, you take off whatever pad or horn button is in the middle. Most of the time you just pry it off, sometimes there are screws. Then either you can remove the steering wheel from the hub adapter, or maybe you can leave yours on. There are usually several screws for that.
Then the hub adapter is held on by 1 large nut. On the 240, I think you need a deep 27mm socket for it. Or 1 1/16. Once you take that off, then remove the hub adapter.
The original wheel should just slide onto the splines, and then replace the nut. Then replace whatever center pad you have.
Oh, for the big nut in the center, I usually put the key in the ignition so that the steering wheel is NOT locked. This way, you will avoid putting a whole lot of force on the locking mechanism. Sure, it is designed to be an anti-theft feature, and it should be strong, but I don't know how easily it may be damaged.
