Anybody have Converse Ford clutch cable info?

Ok, so YEARS later, finally got back to work on 242/Ford T5 swap. On clutch cable- you MUST use Fox body bellhousing and shorter trans input on '94 SN95 Mustang 302, (trust me, you WILL NOT be able to shoehorn deeper bellhousing and longer trans input shaft from 1994/95 SN95 Mustang into a 240!!) I sourced earlier FOX BODY Mustang bellhousing and clutch fork from McCleod.
The ball end on the Volvo (for '84 Turbo) cable is just a bit too small for recess in clutch fork. Tried just flattening ball socket on spare clutch fork with a hammer to make opening a bit smaller, but kinda "Southern Engineering". So, used a 1/2 stainless acorn nut. Cut a slot along nut large enough for cable ball end to pass through and using a Dremel smoothed out inner of nut to allow ball to rest inside. On Volvo cable, screw plastic adjuster all the way up to plastic nut, (adds a bit of strength to threaded plastic sleeve), - pass cable through boss on Ford bell housing, place a large washer on threaded plastic shaft of cable, loosely screw on 2 14mmx1.5 locknuts, pass ball end of cable though clutch arm recess, push clutch arm toward front of car and slide modified acorn nut over ball end of cable with round head of acorn facing toward front against rear of clutch arm with ball end held captive inside acorn nut. I drilled through nut far enough back to fit a pin to hold cable captive inside nut. GREASE!!! Adjust cable free play with lock nuts against bell housing tab. Round end of acorn is good fit against recess in clutch arm, is pretty hard, so no wear issues. Cost $1.50- works great!!
