Most Outrageous-or- BIGGEST V8 stuffed into any Volvo ?

We know there are a bunch of us driving converted Swedish Iron; and some mentioned happily for long term noting postings here.To Start: A Volvo pal and I did a couple in '96, one 350/375 Chevy, and mine, more docile, a 302/225 Ford-both 4-spd Auto. The Chevy ran like a scalded dog, scary. Both cars had stock 3.73 rears, non-posi. I've still got the Ford @ 55K on V8. Now w/ resources and kits like Converse's make this upgrade almost a bolt-in. We used Carbs back then, so less wiring, sensors etc.
Just wondering on a quiet holiday lull,,,,,how many wilder V8 conversions have we seen?
The Swedes are the most prolific.........of course, this was online- a tube frame clip from firewall forward w/ suspension, and a 454 BB Chevy in a 444, w/ a Wild-eyed Swede in the picture.
I've seen a 240 Bertone w/ a 427 and a thumper cam. Innocent looking Sleeper!
A 544: Article in IPD distributing features--Fellow in Hawaii had inserted a 3.1 Camaro V6, with 4-bbl carb,5-speed, slick and well matched.

What have you seen out there???

    I there
I have a 1980 242 that I have been messing around with for many years. It has a 383 Chevy with two T4 turbos on it. It has run in this configuration for a couple of years but the boost was limited to 4 pounds because the injectors were two small for more. I recently pulled the engine to do some stuff and while I was at it I changed the injectors to 60 pound ones. This should allow a fare amount more boost without getting too lean. The trans is a T56 and the rear end is a 9 inch ford with a 3.80 ratio and a true track locker. The car looks perfectly stock.
If I could figure out how to do it I would include a picture.

This has got to me the ultimate Sleeper and killers on the road.
The 383 is just a massive Powerhouse even without the Turbos. /we have one in a '33 Ford w/ 2 4BBLs and it's more than a handful.
You have the perfect setup, but are there some big meats on the rear to hold this swede down? I suppose you can feather it w/ the stick shift. Must be a blast to drive. Volvos can take the torque!!

Mine's a ton of fun w/ a 275 HP carbed 302 Ford/ auto w/ 3.73 Volvo rear in a 760. Have you ever run it down the 1/4 mile or done one of those computer programs?. Figure out those pics, love to see 'em.

Regards, Ken in Rainy Old Florida.

In terms of physical size, this fills up the engine compartment pretty completely.

You aren't kidding!!! Looks like a Hemi sitting in there. Just a few tweaks to make it fit, and that Ford is aluminum I presume. It should be a screamer.
