You posted to the wrong forum, you need to get to the RWD 200 group for a real answer.

Does the radio give you static in AM, FM, or both?

Did you pull the radio out of the dash and check that the antenna lead is firmly plugged in?

Did you check the antenna connection on the fender?

I doubt the radio is at fault if you get reception in the city.
