Amen, Mr. John. Good info in that post.

I had a cam lobe go flat in a B20 once, and I couldn't believe how fast it happened. Within just a couple miles it went from perfectly fine to a terrible lifter noise and sick cylinder. I was told that once the lifter breaks through the hardened surface on the cam lobe, it's all over in a hurry.
