How do I get the pump relay out from brhind the ash tray to replace?

I have a 1989 760 Turbo. I think I have a bad pump relay. I do not have access to the car now as it was towed. When I get to it, how can I get the pump relay out from behind the ash tray? Is it dificult to get at?
