I installed a crane system in my '66 just a few weeks ago, so I can't attest to it's longevity. It was a bit of a chore to get the parts that reside inside the distributor to fit and line up properly as it's pretty tight quarters in there. I seem to remember that I had to reverse one of the brackets rather than follow the instruction illustrations. Hooking up the wiring was a breeze, though I understand it's a bit more complicated if you have the armored cable on your coil. Once everything was hooked up it all worked like a charm.
