Mods for my new engine 140-160 1971

I think the v-performance supercharger would "fit" onto
a B30A intake manifold. From the looks of it, it is designed
to fit onto an SU intake manifold and the B30A has the same
carb spacing as a B20 with SUs.

That said, you're going in the wrong direction.

Take the money you're thinking of spending and buy a cam/head/
exhaust system from kgtrimning, rebuild your block to very high
stock standards (minimal overbore, balanced / blueprinted moving
parts, etc). If (and I mean *IF*) you have any money left over,
spend it on the tires and suspension, and if you've got something
left over after that, spend it on a nice radio.

If you can, go with a pure fuel injection system. Don't mess
with carbs. The D-Jet hardware is solid and well designed and you
can adapt modern computers to work with it easily. Use a 1975
electronic ignition or an aftermarket ignition system. If you have
an unlimited budget, use DCOE manifolds with fuel injection. If
you have a realistic budget, just use the d-jet manifold; it is
plenty good enough for 99% of applications.

A B30 motor in good operating condition with proper tuning can
turn out enough power to move an early 164 very very nicely. You
can have a 3000 pound car with a reliable 240hp mill very easily,
if you're willing to spend $4k-$10k on machine shop time and parts.

If you are interested in doing your own development and research
and experimentation, you'll have to spend more than ten times that
to reproduce other people's results, if you're lucky.
