I used Meguiar's plastic cleaner and polish (two step process) with a random orbital buffer and it worked very well. Any additional yellowing could be taken off with 2000 grade wet-dry sandpaper from an auto body shop. Then protect the lens with Stongard (a little expensive but it works) for $60.
