How do I tell if I have new or used shocks/struts..I may have been ripped off. 700

Unfortunately with struts, the replacement strut cartridge cannot be seen once inserted into the whole assembly. You should notice a difference in the ride and handling, however. Still, it may not be great if your old struts were not completely shot....
