O2 Sensor - ECU Connection & Diaelectric 700

The O2 sensor produces voltages from 0.1 to 0.9 which would be severely affected by the resistance of the dielectric paste, unlike the 5V to 12V elsewhere. This is the ONE underhood connection you want to keep bare. The issue has nothing to do with silicone contamination of the sensor, which is a separate problem. To avoid the latter, don't spray anything in or around the intake system with silicone and use only silicone-safe RTVs on intake system parts.
