I run Bosch WR7DS (silver) plugs in our 245T. It really seems to like them, and is much happier than it was with Platinums (of unknown vintage however).
The copper WR7DC's seem to work fine too- and they're 1/4 the cost, so maybe replace them twice as often?
As for economy in a Turbo, well, that's what the boost gauge and your right foot are for. Keep it out of the boost, you get better economy. If changing plugs could make that much of a difference, the manufacturers would be using whatever "magic bullet" spark plug there is.
