auto trans and speedometer ,odometer problems 900 1994

Please let me be sure i didnt make a mistake ..with cluster still in dash looking at tabs from right to left calling them 1-4 ..1 being red/bl,2=not used,3=br/blk,4=gr/wht. checking from #1 to #4=0,#1to#3=0.12, #1 to #2=2.00. This is with key off all other wires connected except speedometer. sorry for any confusion i'm not as educated in this area as i'de like to be:) wish i still had my old 164 i feel slightly intimidated by this electronic wonder. but i wont let it get me down. I still like this car Thanks .
