whats going on with my instrument panel & brick? 200

1) Temp gauge problems are best solved by tossing the compensator board, then jump Pin #1 to Pin #3. Pin #1 is on the far left as you look at them.

2) Speedometer and/or odometer can be fried by hooking up the red and white wire located back there to the back of your instrument cluster.

Reason: The red/white wire carries mega-volts direct from the ign. coil to signal a tachometer. Never mind that you don't have a tach, the wire is there. If you hooked up that wire to anything but a tach, you probably need a new speedo, maybe a whole new cluster. Been there, done that!

Tie up the wire in a knot and put a tag on it, "TACHOMETER" to prevent future error.
