Go to the auction and click on where it says how many bids.
You then get a list of bidders, each of which is actually a link
to the member's profile. At that point there is a box you can click
on marked "contact member". It opens up the standard e-mail box ebay
uses for "blind" e-messages.
It would be an easy matter to rough out a standard message including the
URL of the picture with text like:
"Warning! The Volvo 122 you are bidding on is apparently NOT the one pictured
on the auction page. This same picture appears on the web at www.umpty-ump...
I am sending you this message as a member of a Volvo community that does NOT
want you to get burned in this apparently fraudulent auction."
and then put it on your clipboard and paste it into the box for each bidder.
Your ebay username will appear in the "From:" line of each message, along
with eBay's warning not to circumvent the auction since in doing so you
forfeit eBay's MARVELOUS protection against fraud.
