Are you saying that a chassis number is not the VIN ??



Looking in my Volvo Quick Reference Parts Catalog:

B230F......1989-93...With EGR.....p/n 8551406-5

B230F/FD...1991-93...Without EGR..p/n 8551408-1


My WorldPac catalog is a little different:

240 B230F 1985-92...p/n 3531403
