correct ODB hole 900

I am working on diagnosing a transmission problem on my 95 960 sedan. There seems to some conflicting ideas on which hole to plug into in the DLC: hole 1 or, hole 2.
There is a differernce between 1994 & 1995 960's. If anybody has any ideas it would sure help. - 960 Brick
