Panel in Wagon Area

I have a 88 240 wagon and one of the panels closest to the rear seat is folded up so that the bottom of it is facing up. When I try to fold the backseat forward to fold the panel underneath it so it is flush with the rest of the panels I cannot get the rear seat to go forward enough to fold the panel underneath it. Has anyone else ever had this problem?
