windshield wiper relay questions...please help 900

**UPDATE****UPDATE****UPDATE****UPDATE****UPDATE****UPDATE****UPDATE****UPDATE*
I JUST WENT OUTSIDE AGAIN TO RUN AN EXPERIMENT. I PUT BACK THE OLD FUEL PUMP RELAY, AND THE ENTIRE WIPER SYSTEM WORKS FINE...INTERMITTENT, REGULAR, AND SUPER FAST. the new relay i put in in place of the old one, i got from volvo, and it had a sort of extra tab of plastic on the plug side and it would not plug in. it was identical from the outside as the old one, so i just popped off that tab, and plugged it in. but with the new relay, i cant wash window, and w/w do not work properly.
i am very confused

original post:

so, as previously posted, the problem that Molly has now is that her windshield wipers do not operate properly in the intermitent position, and whenin the regular speed position, the wipers will stop whenever you turn the wipers off...they do not come back down. when i pull the stalk to me to wash the windshield, it makes a sound and pops the fuse. the sound is like the ufo's in the cartoons when they dissappear into a galactic black hole or something....like "yeeooooop!".

in the FAQ, it states that the winshield wiper relay (from here on referred to as w/w relay) is in the back row of relays in the third position from left...i thought that was the location of the Fuel Pump Relay! now im afraid i switched the wrong relay for an improper one.

SO THE LONG SHORT OF IT IS:
what is the location of the w/w relay on a 940
what is the location of a fuel pump relay on a 940

please help
