Soren, I think what you mean to say is window tint - at least that's what it's called in the USA.

And yes this idea works. My wife recently backed the 745 into the mailbox. (Don't ask)

The window tint on the rear glass meant I only had to clean up 1,000 tiny pieces of glass instead of 10,000,000.
