cold start problems 700 1989

Check you coolant temp sensor.It may faulty, and sending an incorrect signal to your injection ICU. The temp sensor informs the ICU of the coolant, which then sets the correct fuel/air mixture for the overall operating temperature. If the signal is wrong, the ICU will not provide the correct mixture, acting as you describe.
