93 940 wagon FI question 900 1993

The easy way to spot the difference is by tracing the coil wire from the distributor to the coil.

If the coil goes to the right (passenger) side of the compartment and ends at a black cylinder shaped coil, it is Bush system, EZ 116K ignition system & a LH-jetronic 2.4 fuel injection. This is often referred to as LH.

If the coil wire goes to the left side and ends up at square box you have a Rex 1 ignition system and a Regina fuel injection system. (Rex-Regina)

Pull the codes. Instructions are here: http://brickboard.com/FAQ/700-900/EngineOBDCodes.htm

The first time I had to pull codes, I printed out a copy, sat down at the kitchen table highlighted the procedure and made a few notes. The copy went into my note book for future reference.
