Flatten Head...

We've done something similar to flatten the warp in carburetor castings...a sheet of emery cloth on top of glass, kept wetted with kerosene, and the carburetor parts slid in a circular motion until there was a nice, even contact all around the surface. I've never tried this with a cylinder head. I hope it works well for you.
