I just replaced the windlace on both sides of mine with replacements from http://www.swedishtreasures.com/1201.html . You could sew your own, but the replacements from Swedish Treasures have the factory V-shaped plastic sewn on to them. This is what keeps the windlace firmly in place in a few areas. The replacement did not involve the headliner (mine was in perfect condition), but did require removal of the rear seat and side panels. The windlace is stapled to strips on the door posts under the side panels. As stated, the V-shaped plastic holds the windlace in place, but not only in the headliner area, also in the front kickpanel area, in the windsheild trim area and under the trim in the upper seatbelt mount area as well. All other area's need to have the plastic removed (really easy). These area's incude where it goes under the trim on the dash and where it gets stapled to the inner door post. I removed my old windlace as carefully as possible in order to use it as a template for trimming the plastic.

All in all, it went pretty quickly and looks SO much better.

Oh, also, I made the mistake of assuming that the price included enough to do both sides but it doesn't, you have to order two.
