I did a similar thing to the stupid Rover I used to own. The floodwater bent all four conrods and fractured the cylinder head in three places. It cost a lot of money to replace the engine, something in hindsight I wish that I hadn't bothered to do; I should have scrapped the car and bought a Volvo!
