Fuel pump runs continuously--electrical prob?

Hey Ron,

What I mean when I say a "short" is that a hot wire (+12) could be shorting to ground which means something stays on or off or eventually blows a fuse.
Also check all of your grounds that pertain to the fuel system and wiring harness connections.
My father was having an intermittent charging problem for the longest time on his 88 Chevy pickup. He bought a new alternator thinking that was the problem, didnt work. Upon further investigation, it turned out to be a corroded ground going to the frame.

Good Luck

Adrian
