Ok, on mine, you could use a screw through the white inner plastic "bracket" that the turn signal stalk is attached to.....into the threaded holes in the turn signal stalk bracket. I wonder if you have the correct factory stalk for your year? there were different ones, I'm told.

Interior search is...well...a search. Still not sure how I want to proceed as I'm unhappy with how the locally sourced fabric looks (light tan) and the seats themselves are a little shabby. Would prefer to find a better core seat and then recover w/ oe style fabric.
