Removing Air Flow Sensor 200 1980

I have a B21F with K-Jetronic/CIS fuel injection. I thought it would be a good idea to have an extra air flow sensor. Is this a good ideas, ie do they go bad? They're a royal pain to access. Today in the junkyard, I couldn't locate the bolts holding them down. I suspect that the bolts/nuts run parallel to the long axis of the engine. How do I remove the air flow sensor?
