trailer

Just bought a small camping trailer, Coleman Taos, that weighs about 1200 pounds. Once in a while we'll pull same 200 miles to camp, and will carry maybe 150 pounds of bicycles and accountrements. The wife and I add up to about 250 soaking wet. Then there's a tank of gas. And maps.

Do I need to add a trans oil cooler or anything? Any other trailering advice welcome.

(As a younger man, I had jobs driving a wrecker and delivering tractors with truck and trailer - so I'm OK with driving - just want to preserve the brick as much as possible.)

91 740 wagon, automatic, 170K

Thanks,
PM
