Trunk lid adjustment 1996

My trunklid was pulled out of alignment by our bicycle carrier. It pulled it evenly about 3/4" out of alignment, away from the body of the car. Is there an adjustment somewhere or are things just bent evenly. It almost seems strange that both sides are out of whack exactly the same amount.

Any body specialists have any ideas about the best way to repair this?
