Think that I'll be keeping my brick for a long time

All I can say is, if you look at S80's, DO NOT get a 1999. The reliability problems are more or less resolved for 2000. The S80T6 however is a royal b*** to work on anything under the hood.

I think it's the modern day 960, basically a complicated, expensive car that does not improve with age.
