Finally ... the engine is in and is it every SWEET !! Took some time for Iain and I to sort out the timing .... some swedish troll designed the distributer to go counter clockwise .... once we figured that out and which direction was advanced and which was retard and got the firing order going counter clockwise ... she sorted herself right out .... took a shakedown cruise to Halifax and back ... approximately 30 miles each way ... this baby really sings now !! That Street torque cam gives it a much better bottom end and seems to even help out the top end ... but then again the old cam was quite worn .... Just have to get the hood back on and get the old girl cleaned up .... Glad this job is behind us now but it was well worth the time, trouble and expense .... that first fire up after installing / rebuilding an engine is ALMOST as good as SEX ;-)
