Front engine seals/ Flame trap relationship, Help!!

Hello to all. It has been a while since my last post because my car has been treating me well. Anyway, I have noticed a bit of oil collecting on my skidplate/bellypan. It is coming from behind the t-belt cover. I know there are a couple of seals in that location but don't know how long they usually last. My car is an 85 240 w/ an automatic. It has 66,xxx miles. About two months ago I put in a newer flame trap kit that relocates the trap above the manifold. I noticed a bit of oil backup around the breather box before the conversion. Now there is no oil around the box. I had also picked up a new breather box but decided against putting it on in fear of the hose dropping into the oil pan. I know that excessive crank pressure can blow out the front engine seals so I was wondering if the box could be the culprit or is this a case of old rotted seals? And if anyone has any comments on the breather box removal i.e. risks, tips, etc., please let me know. Also how tough would it be to replace all of the front engine seals. I am a proud owner of a Bentley and have checked out the FAQ's, I just need some advice from people who have successfully completed the above tasks.
