Testing removed fuel pump.

The 95 has only an intank fuel pump. I have gone through all the testing procedures. The in tank pump is most likely dead or a connection inside the tank is corroded.

So far - I have checked the grounds, connections, fuses, relay (with known working relay). There is power at the pump connections, continuity through the last section of harness to the in tank pump.

However, when jiggling the wires at the tank the pump came on (sounded crappy) ran for a little while until I jiggled the wires again and it died.

I am going to remove the pump, tank cap, and wire harness from the car. I'll close up the tank and lose connections with some gas proof rubber/plastic (suggestions please). I will inspect for lose connections, let gas evaporate over night, then hook up to the working 940 hareness to see if it runs or not (since it could really be an intermitten ground problem somewhere).

I am a broke grad student with 2 kids so if I have to spend 200 bucks I have to be certain that it is what the culprit really is.
