89 Temp Gauge Flatlining............................................................................

I battled this on a customer's car for a while. The compensation board didn't fix it. The sensor was OK. A new gauge did the trick (I finally figured it out by just eating it and pulling a gauge out of another cluster. Worked right away.)

This doesn't guarantee that your problem is the gauge, but definitely don't rule it out like I did.
