John has steered you right.
For your own edification, however, I suggest you get a tape measure and
take some measurements on the B30 engine and then take your yardstick
(not the tape measure) and get under the hood of the 544. I believe that
will rapidly clarify the issue! Now if you wanted to build a long-hood
front-heavy PV, it could indeed be done but NOT on a limited budget and
not quickly either. A great deal of structural and body work would be
required to get the necessary room.
