Hi Robert,
I was under the car one day and noticed some offset of the rear axle on my car. I measured it. It was about 1 cm out of center. Dunno if that's about the amount you're talking about though.
If your offset is about simular, its probably just fine, if it's a lot more there probably will be something wrong... Hmm, am I of any help?
