'Rust Never Sleeps' 1800

I have had remarkably good luck with POR-15. My son and I used it to coat the frame etc of a 1968 Spitefire about three years ago. We took the metal down to bright steel before applying. The product we used seemed to go on fairly thin, we used two coats. We also had the body tub sprayed with POR-15. The tub was also down to bare metal. All directions were followed very closely. So far- so good. I plan on using POR-15 on my total restoration of my 1800...
No affiliation etc. As one of the boarders says, wear old clothes and gloves! Also, this stuff is EXTREMELY dangerous to the old lungs, so wear some kind of mask, even when using a brush. If you spray, use a fresh air respirator, not just a mask. As the guy said, it didn't come off his hands for a week, and a half. Course if you can go without oxygen for a week and half...
