92 960 power door locks........ 900

Spook,
This query is from someone who still believes that electricity is magic (and my Dad was an electrical engineer), but can relays partially fail? This car has an all door locking system to it, not the one-press, two-press systems of later model. I'm just wondering whether this is part of the alarm reset, but that doesn't make much sense to me either...except I've owned the 92 960 and it's a touchy system compared to the other ones. I think all were dealer installed at that time (mine was) and it has a receiver with three LEDs mounted on a pillar. I might suggest that he take a look at this and go through resetting the options, although I don't remember one being to open only the driver's door.
