Kyle, last time I looked, Shayne was doing adjustments the way I do them. By all means take it to him.

Increasing duration has zero affect on compression, and a *very* small affect on pinging at lower RPM. It has a measurable affect on compression gauge readings, which are in no way a quantitative measure of the actual compression. That's built into the motor and doesn't change regardless of what cam is installed or how it's set.
