Bob,
What year and model Brick are you having trouble with? To check if your getting spark ... pull a plug wire and attach it to a spare plug. Lay the plug against the block for grounding and watch as someone cranks the engine over. You should see spark at the electrodes. Water in the fuel can be a real problem during the winter months. I run a container of isoproply gas drier like IsoHeet through the system every other tank during the winter. The first winter I had my new 95 944T, I had too many kids/cars and it spent winter nights in the driveway. It failed to start one morning and wouldn't run until the sun came out and the temp went up beyond freezing. Ice in the fuel line, without doubt. Since then any Brick living outdoors gets Isopropyl gas drier in the winter. Also keeping the tank topped up helps prevent condensation, besides adding a few more traction enhancing pounds over the drive wheels. Good Luck sorting this out and getting back on the road.
