GLT intermittent engine miss, vacuum problem? 200 1983

Hi,
I just bought this '83 GLT Wagon today, and it's got a strange miss, when I depress the gas pedal it misses, if I can get it moving up to some speed and I just barely depress the pedal the cylinder picks up, seems like a vacuum leak, but I can't hear anything. It has new plugs, wires and cap.
Are there any inherent manifold problems or something else that might be causing this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Photomike
