There are no maintenance free cars. My Volvos cost less to run than any of the three Ford products I was lucky enough to own. My two Mazdas were OK but once past a 100K it was time to rid myself of them. Buy a car you can aford to maintain. If relibility is important why would you ever look at a domestic?
Good luck. Even though the odds are 120 million to one I think your best bet is to buy a lotery ticket.
