I just replaced a Engine Coolant Temperature sensor to try and alleviate hard starting and rich running conditions in the colder weather. The car was very difficult to start at times, but at least it would start. The old sensor was certainly fried - it fell apart while taking it out.
Since replacing the sensor the car will not start at all. I have spark and fuel. It will crank over fine and sputter once in a while but never catches on and runs. No intake leaks. I disconnected the air mass meter - no change.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Curt
