Are you pressure bleeding the system, the 240 is a pain to do otherwise. I use the Motive Products unit, works well. If you used the brake pedal with helper method, you may have finished off the old MC by extending the piston/seal travel to corroded areas of the MC. My 2 cents says, put in new MC and pressure bleed. Good luck.
