D-jet brain debugging 120-130

I had a brain conk out like that in my 1800E once before. I was just driving it along and it died and coasted to a halt beside the road. After many diagnostics the thing that finally fixed it was swapping the brain (had one in the 145E wagon to try). I ended up getting a new(used) brain for the 1800.

Although in retrospect I think perhaps just wiring up the relays differently would be just about as good an idea. Just hook them up so the fuel pump runs whenever the key is on. The only difference between that and letting the computer control it is when you turn the key on and just leave it on without cranking or starting the engine. And when do you ever do that anyway? It's bad for the coil, and in any case it isn't bad for the fuel pump, nno more so that running the engine at idle (it pushes a full flow of fuel at 28 psi all the time anyway, regardless of how much or how little the engine is actually using).
