Fuel pump doesn't 'pre-run' 140-160 1975

Mine ran for about a second. I thought it was timed by a second relay, which passed through to the main fuel pump relay. John is probably right, the initial signal comes from the CPU, but it could be the connection to the secondary relay that is iffy. Check the wiring diagram.
