With a shot of starter fluid it almost starts, maybe for a second but never gets going. The closest to running I got was when I poured some oil through the spark plug holes and put on new plugs. It ran for about 10 seconds just long enough for the check engine light to come on ran rough a little longer then wouldn't restart. I now the compression must be really low already from the piston slap that existed before I took the engine apart. I think the unburnt gas is decreasing the compression even further. Oh yeah, when I took the old plugs out they looked carbon coated like the mixture was super rich, although I have been trying to start it for 3 weeks. Oh yeah there is spark - enough to shock the hell out of me when my wife cranked it before I grounded the plug. Fuel is in the rail. I am trying to sell the sucker soon I need money for day care! I hope I can sell it in running condition.
