1976... 244 what next??

Well I did not get pictures yet.. But it's looking like my 76 turbo has the stock B21 engine with a turbo added. This car would need a lot of work...the work is not the problem what I'm wondering about is parts, I have 2 244's for parts an 86 with only 75.000 and a 92 with closer to 200,000 miles.

I guess my question is what to do...(I brought my '90 760 home to day so I am VERY excited about turbos all of a sudden) I am assumeing that this is a way less than ideal set up... Can I use some of the engine parts on hand to make this work or work better? Should I just upgrade to one of the newer engines?

Or should I scrap it... sell the gauges and stick the flat hood nose clip on my 86 245?

Some of the things I have been thinking about are porting the intake and exaust bigger cam (but which one?)
If I decide to go ahead with this it would be a weekend warrior... cruise nite maybe a couple of runs at the drag strip etc... so I could get pretty radical...no emmisions tests here... yet.
Thanks all!!
Bret
oh by the way tags and insp. expired 2000... I stuck a battery in it today to see if it was "froze up", and to check the electrics... the stereo played nicely and when I turned the key the engine turned over about 4 times and started!!! I had checked the oil but had no intention of it actually starting... it was missing real bad but hey for $80 I never expected it to start. guess I could tune it up.
