distributer installation

I just had the same problem, I thought. There was a black plastic insert in one of the mounting flanges that centered that 10 mm fastener - setting it right for both sides. Even if that had been missing - I noted that I could easily see where the small bolts had been resting before - as they left an impression on the distributor mounting flanges.

Of course, I was putting my distributor back in with the head still off. Hope this helps.
